A recent example is the FM2-0 machine, which accurately and efficiently creates flanges on cylinders, used in agricultural industry equipment to clean and dry grain.

Presentation of the Process

• Depending on the size of the expander the machine can process various sizes of cylinder and provide the material manually.
• The welding seam of the material must be located between two modules of the expander.
• Single flashing of the auto start button. Press auto start and the expander starts widening to hold the material.
• Supports go down.
• The inner roll pinches the material.
• The expander with material and two bending rolls start rotating.
• Machine bends one edge of the material to make the flange. (Video speed x5)
• The rolls release the flange and move away from it.
• The roll module goes back to a parking position.
• The Supports go up.
• The expander releases the material and goes back to the starting position. (Video speed x 3)
• The bending process of the first flange is finished.
• The material is taken off the expander.
• The other side of the material is applied.
• Double flashing of the auto start button. Press the auto start to begin bending again.
• Bending the flange on the other side of the material. (Video speed x10)
