mdexx Strengthens Fan Production with SweBend Flange Forming Technology
SweBend has supplied mdexx fan systems with a Flange Forming Machine (FM2V-1), following a successful Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), supporting the company’s continued investment in efficient and repeatable manufacturing processes.
The FM2V-1 automatically forms precise flanges along the edges of sheet metal, a critical production step in the manufacture of mdexx’s advanced axial and radial fans, as well as its wider air-technology systems. Integrating this automated forming process enables mdexx to achieve strong, tight and consistent connections in ducts and components, an essential requirement for performance, reliability and efficiency in demanding industrial environments.
By reducing manual handling and increasing repeatability, the new forming solution helps streamline production while improving overall cost efficiency. The automation also supports consistent quality across high-volume and customised fan assemblies alike.
